This Privacy Policy explains how DevDimensions ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the DevDimensions application (the "App") at https://devdimensions.org, including its integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and company name when you register or connect to the App.
- QuickBooks data: when you authorize the App to connect to your QuickBooks Online account, we access accounting data such as company information, customers, invoices, transactions, and reports, strictly as needed to provide the App's features.
- Technical data: log data such as IP address, browser type, and usage events, used for security and troubleshooting.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the App and its QuickBooks integration.
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
- To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. QuickBooks Data Access
Access to your QuickBooks Online data is granted through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. We only access the data required for the App's functionality, and OAuth tokens are stored securely. We do not sell, rent, or trade your QuickBooks data. You can revoke our access at any time by disconnecting the App from your QuickBooks account or via our disconnect page; after disconnection we no longer receive data from Intuit.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal or accounting data with third parties except: (a) with service providers that host or support the App under confidentiality obligations, (b) when required by law, or (c) with your explicit consent.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure storage of OAuth tokens, and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the App or as required by law. When you disconnect your QuickBooks account or request deletion, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period. Deletion requests can be sent to support@devdimensions.org.
7. Cookies
The App may use cookies or similar technologies for session management and authentication. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@devdimensions.org.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
